I placed an order and need to amend it. How can I do this?

If you need to make changes to your order, please email us or use the contact form on our website. We’ll confirm your amendments within 24 hours on weekdays. Please note our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 12 noon. Be sure to review our terms and conditions for more details.

Can your products be machine washed?

Yes, all our products, except the Wax range, can be machine washed. We recommend washing at 40°C or lower. For the Wax range, simply wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt or mud. Our products should be drip-dried only.

Will washing my dog’s coat reduce its water-repelling qualities?

No, your dog’s coat will retain its water-repelling properties even after washing. We use only the highest quality fabrics and components, rigorously tested for durability. However, please note that the Wax range is not suitable for washing—simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

How do I choose the right product for my dog?

The best product depends on your dog’s breed, size, and specific needs. Our knowledgeable team is just a phone call or email away, ready to help you select the perfect product. If you’re local, feel free to schedule an in-person consultation for expert advice.

I have a long-backed/large breed dog. Will your products fit?

We cater to all breeds and sizes, offering tailor-made products to meet your dog’s specific needs. Whether you have a dog, cat, pig, or exotic pet, we can customize our products to fit. Accurate measurement is key, and we charge a small fee for custom orders.

How do I know which size to buy?

Accurate measurement is crucial for the best fit. While our breed size guides are helpful, they are only guidelines. Please refer to our measuring instructions on the website to measure your pet correctly for the perfect fit.

How do I measure my dog for a harness or coat?

To measure your dog, use a soft tape measure and have your dog stand squarely. For harnesses, measure the girth around the fullest part of the body, just behind the front legs, and also measure the neck. For coats, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. For collars, measure around the neck and add 2-3 cm for comfort.

If I order a bespoke item and it doesn’t fit, can I exchange it?

Unfortunately, bespoke items are custom-made per your specifications and are exempt from our returns policy. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for these items.

Can I choose specific colors for my dog’s coat or harness?

Yes! We offer customization options, allowing you to select color combinations that match your preferences. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and receive a quote.

Why should I choose a Snuggle Pets harness?

Our harnesses are designed with your dog’s comfort in mind, preventing pulling and allowing for natural movement. The wide, padded straps reduce rubbing and soreness, while the unique design helps improve communication between dogs during walks. Our harnesses ensure your dog’s spine remains in a natural position, reducing discomfort compared to collars.

Can Snuggle Pets harnesses be used with a retractable lead?

While our harnesses can be used with retractable leads, we strongly advise against it due to safety concerns. Retractable leads can encourage pulling and pose risks to both you and your dog. We recommend using our fleece leads or adjustable leads for better control.

What if my dog pulls, lunges, barks, or jumps?

Our harnesses, especially when used with our 3-stage adjustable lead, are effective in reducing pulling. However, for severe behaviors like lunging or jumping, we recommend consulting a behaviorist or trainer for a tailored retraining program.

What happens if my dog chews on their harness, coat, or lead?

We offer repair services for a small fee if your dog chews on their harness, coat, or lead. Please refer to our warranty and returns policy for more details.

Can I run with my dog while they wear a Snuggle Pets harness or coat?

Yes, our products are designed to be strong and durable, making them suitable for running. Just be sure to ensure both your and your dog’s safety during activity.

Can I have my dog’s name or other details embroidered on your products?

Currently, we do not offer embroidery services on our products.

What delivery options do you offer?

We offer UK delivery through My Hermes, with a 2-3 day service. If you prefer, we can also ship using Royal Mail 2nd class delivery. For next-day delivery, we provide a Special Delivery option at an additional cost. For international orders, including the EU, we use Royal Mail Tracked services.

How can I return an item, and will I have to pay to send it back?

Details on how to return an item are provided on the back of your invoice and on our Terms and Conditions page. Please contact our office to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before sending anything back.
